Overall, they are not any higher or worse than the directions that you get with different equipment. The handiest thing that had me scratching my head for a little while was once the guideline on attaching the dust collection unit. It seems that Rikon changed the manner in which it attaches sometime right thru the production, but the guide never got up to date.

Here are some of the issues I precisely have with this unit:
1. It comes packaged in a somewhat flimsy cardboard field, padded with honeycomb paper subject matter instead of styrofoam.
