I purchased this planer about mid Dec. (3 weeks in the past) I even have use it a number of occasions, mostly on 3/4" maple with a couple of other matrls. thrown in. It has carried out wonderfully. The dust assortment shute is a big plus and works moderately well with my heavy duty shop vac. I suspect it is going to work even higher with a good dust collector of 500 or extra cfm.(My subsequent purchase)
